The quality of her consciousness.
A healer is powerful when he or she:
- Is a clear open channel for healing energies.
- Has clearly focused intention.
- Is grounded.
- Is open to infinite possibilities.
- Is heart-centered.
- Is filled with integrity.
Let’s explore these qualities together.
A powerful healer is a clear open channel for healing energies.
To be a “clear open channel” requires that a healer continually works on herself to raise her consciousness and maintain her openness to receive and work with the highest frequencies possible.
This means that the person is committed to her own spiritual path and to their service as a healer. Working on oneself includes, but is not limited to these activities.
- Eliminates limited thinking and beliefs that can interfere with bringing through healing energies.
- Knows how to manage her own emotions so that they don’t get “dumped” onto the one receiving the healing.
- Clears one’s own channels daily so that more energy and a wider variety of frequencies can be channeled for purposes of healing.
- Begins each session with a prayer asking to be a “clear channel” and ends each session by clearing herself, the healing space, and everyone in that space.
A powerful healer has clearly focused intention.
For a healer, a clear, focused intention requires three things:
- Knowing what your own intentions are as a healer.
- Asking the one receiving the healing to tell you their intentions
- Making sure that your intentions and your client’s intentions are aligned.
Aligning your intention as a healer with the intention of your client is very important because:
- Putting your own intentions over those of the one receiving the healing violates higher law and creates karma for the healer.
- Setting intentions that do not align with the life path and higher purpose of the one receiving the healing can cause problems for that being down the road.
- Muddled intention leads to muddled results.
A powerful healer is grounded.
To heal, you must be grounded, meaning that your consciousness must be present in all parts of your own physical body and connected to the Earth!
- A healer cannot heal issues in the lower parts of their own body unless she is willing to be fully present with therein.
- To fully experience your life path, you have to be fully in all your energy bodies.
- A powerful healer is grounded so she can assist her clients to also become grounded.
A powerful healer is Open to Infinite Possibilities.
Being open to infinite possibilities opens the door for miracles.
By setting that intention, the healer gets him/herself out of the way so that healing can happen.
A powerful healer is heart centered.
Being consciously heart centered means you are more likely to offer Divine Love and Compassion to your clients, and that is the basis for powerful healing.
A powerful healer is filled with integrity.
“Integrity” means having coherence within yourself because all your “parts” are fully integrated.
“Integrity” means that you say what you mean, mean what you say, and follow through with your commitments.
“Integrity” means telling yourself the truth about yourself. “To thine own self be true.” Only when you do that, can you be honest with others.
“Integrity” is necessary for trust. If you have integrity, all parts of you trust yourself, and others can trust you, too. To be a powerful healer, you must be trustworthy.
How to decide if a healer is the best match for you.
When seeking an energy healer, you can determine to what degree someone meets these criteria by asking your body to help you sense or feel whether the person is a good match for you, your animal, or another family member.
- You can use muscle testing, a pendulum, or just tune into your own body.
- Think of the healer you are considering contacting.
- Go through the list of characteristics and ask, in each case, to what degree you feel this person meets the criteria.
This will help you choose the best possible person to assist you.
Each birthday begins a new year of you life.
So today is actually my birthday, and I’m celebrating it as a personal start of a new year.
This year I feel drawn to open to new possibilities and new ways of being.
I’ve been guided to understand this morning that birthdays represent pivotal points in our lives. If we treat them as such, and ask to understand their meaning, we’ll be shown the significance of each year as it arrives.
So this morning, I asked for guidance and was told:
You’re being prepared for new service, a new role. Today marks the turning point towards that new focus.
Then I went to the Healing Earth Tarot and asked, “What does this year represent for me?”
SHAMAN – Crown Chakra
The Shaman brings together the world of density (Earth) with the world of lesser density (Spirit). She stands between them, following her inner knowing as she aligns with Divine Will.
She has the ability to stand in her own knowing with great strength of purpose and focus as she teaches others to do the same.
I’ve never thought of myself as a Shaman. I’ve never trained with anyone to become a Shaman. So this card is quite a surprise to me.
NEXT QUESTION: Today – in this now moment – what focus would best serve me?
3 of Crystals – Power Center and Mental Body
This card is about saying goodbye to an old way of being, fully feeling the sadness and loss as you move into something new.
This helped me understand why I’ve been feeling so sad for the last 24 hours.
The cards also advises not to run from the grief. We have to let go and make space for the new, and that frequently brings up feelings of loss and sadness. When we fully feel those feelings, we can let go of them, accelerating the arrive of the gifts the universe is sending.

Celebrate your Birthday!
Five of Crystals
In the Healing Earth Tarot, the Crystal suit speaks from the Mental Body or Third Chakra. Doubts are thoughts — beliefs — that we allow to distract us from the truth of our personal power.
When your soul chose to incarnate in this life, it was given everything it needed to succeed. You may find it difficult to believe, but you truly have all the talent and potential to live a splendid, fulfilling, satisfying life experience.
Doubt creates the dragon.
When you doubt yourself, you create a dragon who feeds on your lack of belief in yourself.
Perhaps you’ve been programmed with a set of false messages, such as:
- Struggle is good for you.
- The cards are stacked against you.
- Scarcity is the way of the world and we each have to struggle and compete to survive.
- Each person is only out for him/herself and so I’m really on my own.
Perhaps your confidence in yourself has been undermined:
- Were you bullied as a child by your parents, siblings, school-mates, teachers, or others?
- Are you measuring your abilities, successes, or failures with standards that don’t really fit who you are?
- Do you know what your talents and strengths are?
- Have you ever had a mentor or personal coach – someone to help you discover your true talents and self-worth?
To overcome the dragon, shift your perspective.
Since your doubts create the dragons, it’s your doubts that must be overcome.
The Universe is a Success.
Just look up into the night sky to
see how vast and expansive it is.
If you align yourself with the Universe,
can you be less than successful?
Here are some questions to help you begin to shift.
What makes this situation or person seem dragon-like (big, scarey, difficult to overcome, fierce, fiery, a struggle) to me?
If the dragon is created from my own doubts about myself, can I consider that the dragon is an illusion or a reflection?
Do I doubt my ability to overcome the dragon?
What other doubts about myself are making the dragon stronger?
What talents and skills do I already have that will help me feel stronger and more self-confident?
Can I see myself differently, perhaps as a knight, superhero, my 5-D Self, or my I Am Presence?
What is the next step I can take to dissolve my doubts and start to shrink the dragon down to manageable size?
There’s no need to become trapped in a self-fulfilling prophecy of doubt and struggle.
As you change your perspective, you take back control over your thoughts and beliefs.
Change your perspective, eliminate your doubts, and watch the dragon disappear.
My Favorite Scent.
My favorite scent is Lilac. I’ve loved them all my life. Not the man-made colors that have no smell. The classic, original lilacs whose odor is intoxicating.
Some years ago, when I first moved into my current home, I transplanted some old lilacs from a friend’s house. They never bloomed. No matter what I did or didn’t do, the lilac’s refused to produce flowers. So I gave up trying to grow them.
Each spring, as I’d walk through the neighborhood, I’d look eagerly for lilacs. One house on the next street has two lilac bushes right along the road. As I’d pass by and smell the aroma, I’d ask permission of the bushes to inhale some of the fragrance directly from the flowers. Generously, they always agreed.
In the late 1990’s, I met a gal at a psychic fair who sold essential oils. She claimed to have a Lilac oil at home that she could send me. This surprised me, as I have never found natural lilac scent anywhere. All lilac perfumes are artificial and smell terrible to me. Was this going to be the real Lilac essence?
I ordered a bottle and waited eagerly for it arrive. I tore the package open and enthusiastically unwrapped the bottle. Then very cautiously, I opened the bottle and inhaled.
It was like breathing in life force – oxygen. I couldn’t get enough of it. Every day for several weeks, I’d just open the bottle and inhale the scent like a tonic. The energy of it would spread through my body.
The gal who sent me the Lilac essence has disappeared, and the bottle of Lilac essential oil is gone as well. She told me that Lilac heals the spine, and my back definitely felt better when using it. I have no idea where to get more, so each spring I ask the lilac bushes to share their healing power, and they do.
Meanwhile, I’ve learned how to make flower essences, and I’ve made Lilac for myself. Of course, it has no scent and works energetically. But I miss the aroma.
This year, I’ve been given a gift of Lilac. You see, two of the houses next door to me have lilacs blooming in their yards. Something about the odd weather has brought forth abundant lilac blooms. The unusually cool spring has kept them fresh far longer than usual. And when I open my windows, a gentle flow of air is bringing the magnificent, healing scent of lilacs right into my house.

Do you have an affinity for a particular flower? What does it call forth in you? How do you feel when you see it or smell it’s scent? Flowers have spirit and are often willing to share their healing powers. Connect with the flower that calls to you most strongly and invite it to communicate with you. You may learn something new, unexpected, and powerful about plant spirit and healing.
What does it mean when
the Third Chakra calls to you?
In the Ascension Acceleration 2015 Program, we’ve been exploring how the male and female chi (life force) is balanced differently in each of our chakras. The Third Chakra, or Solar Plexus, is a male chi dominant chakra. This is in contrast to the 2nd chakra, which is more female dominant than male.
For the last 10-14 days, as I continue to ask for daily messages from my the Healing Earth Tarot, most of the cards that show up are coming from my Solar Plexus. The Solar Plexus chakra has to do with personal power, expressing and manifesting through action, beliefs and belief systems, and the mental body (we have 7 bodies).
Some of the cards I didn’t fully (or at all) understanding on a personal level, like the 8 of Crystals, where a woman is standing in a bird-cage, facing away from the door, which is behind her and open and leads to a crystal staircase that she can descend. I can see that she’s trapped in the illusions of her mind and needs to turn around to discover the truth, which is that the door is open, but I still have figured out the specific way to apply this to myself.
On the other hand, the 9 of Crystals, which is about facing our inner demons – the ways in which we attack ourselves with negative self-talk and the need to heal our inner children – that card made perfect sense to me immediately in terms of what I’ve been doing for many years now. How do you get rid of a feelings of unworthyness? You connect with the inner child who came to that conclusion about herself and help her see the truth of who she really is.
The third chakra is all about our beliefs. Who am I? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where do I believe I’m going? What do I believe I’m worth? What do I believe I deserve? What is my relationship with Source?
We all have accepted limitation as a way of living in the 3rd Dimension, but truly, is that all there is? The awakened part of me firmly answers,
NO! There is so much more!
There is SO much more.
We can change what we believe. Beliefs are PROGRAMMED ideas that we have accepted, not ultimate truths, although we have the illusion that they are truths. We might see them that way … at first … until we consider other possibilities might actually exist and have greater truth for us.
So what does it mean when you keep getting tapped on the shoulder, so to speak, by pulling lots of 3rd chakra tarot cards?
It means that it’s time to explore your Third chakra.
It means that it’s time to take a closer look at some of those beliefs that are holding you in limitation.
It means that the energies might be just perfect right now for exploring and shifting some of those beliefs.
In case you haven’t noticed, our Solar (sun) System is also pointing us to look into the Solar Plexus right now!
The Spring Equinox arrived with an explosion of energy from “father” Sun (solar flare) sending the Earth’s magnetic field into a glamorous expression of colored lights (Aurora Borealis). At the exact same time, the moon was in its “now” phase, we makes it impossible for us to see. Simultaneously, the sun and moon danced into a full solar eclipse so that the Sun’s corona blazed brightly into view.
My goodness, if you haven’t considered that we are intertwined with all that exists around us, please take a moment right now to open to this possibility.
We are electromagnetic beings, and we’ve all been experiencing IN OUR BODIES these energetic messages. Our neurological system is electromagnetic and electrochemical, so if you’ve been feeling exhausted, angry, depressed, overwhelmed, physically depleted and even sick, then consider that these symptoms might just be how you’re reacting to the alignments listed here.
And your SOLAR PLEXUS chakra is your INNER SUN!!!
Do you think that your personal inner SUN is not connected to the our SOLAR SYSTEM’S SUN?
SO … this spring … let your inner sun, your Solar Plexus, shine more brightly.
