What Is a Spiritual Master?

A spiritual master is one who chooses to align with their own True Self, also called I Am Presence or God Self.

This is the highest aspect of each one of us.  This is the original Divine Spark that emanated directly from God/Goddess/All-That-Is.  A spiritual master is one who acknowledges his/her own Divinity.

A spiritual master is one who chooses to BE in alignment – to LIVE in alignment – with the highest, most conscious, most spiritually aware part of oneself.

A spiritual seeker transforms into a spiritual master by making this commitment:

“I choose alignment with my I Am Presence.”

Your Divine Self (I Am Presence) already Is a Master.

You Already Are a Master.

This alignment doesn’t often happen in a flash of light.  It takes conscious, daily commitment.  This is because of the Ego.

The Ego is an aspect of our Divine Self that was created to help the Divine Self live in the Third Dimensional World or 3-D.  The 3-D world is one of limitation.  It is a very slow vibrational frequency, and most of us have all been living there for many lifetimes.

It’s my understanding that we come into 3-D to have certain experiences.  Those experiences are planned by us at the Soul Level.  We choose to be here.  We make a plan with the assistance of our spirit guides, spiritual teacher, our Higher Self, and our I Am Presence.  We invite other souls to take on specific roles in our 3-D life to assist us in having our experiences, and we agree to take on specific roles for those souls.  These souls become our parents, siblings, friends, bosses, teachers, colleagues, neighbors, animal companions, and so on.

Then we incarnate.  Being in 3-D requires that we forget all the plans we made.  We forget about the agreements.  We forget so that we can experience without knowing the outcome in advance.  This is how we learn.  It’s like a game.  Would you play scrabble or chess or football if you knew the outcome in advance?  Why bother to play if you always know the outcome?

Part of the 3-D game is to find the joy of rediscovering our Divinity.  When we move from darkness to light, we experience intense joy.  It’s more intense because it was missing and we have learned what the lack of this connection feels like.

As you awaken, as you remember your God Self while still in physical bodies, you begin to connect with Joy.  You start to realize that you made these plans.

At the same time, your Ego resists.  The Ego doesn’t want us to remember, because the Ego is into limitation and control and fear and doesn’t want to give up it’s power over you.

The Ego is just one small aspect of you who believes it has been running the show.

The I Am Presence is a vastly large aspect – the fullest, most complete, truest aspect of you, who knows all there is to know about you.  The I Am understands the Ego, but the Ego doesn’t understand the I Am.

Most next time about the ego and mastery and gurus.  Yes – I haven’t forgotten that I said I’d talk about gurus.

Giving Up Control for Empowerment.

Who Is in Control of Your Life?

by Nedda Wittels
© April 8, 2012

When we feel helpless, hopeless, and disempowered, then we say that something or someone else outside of us is in control of our lives.  This can be alcohol, drugs, our parents, boy/girl-friend, and so on.  It’s a long list in the blame game, and for many that means blaming God, too.

When we are scrambling around, overwhelmed, but trying to push the river anyway, then that’s our ego aspect trying desperately to be in or stay “in control.”  This way of being “in control” doesn’t work because it’s false, an illusion, inauthentic.  This is how many of us function on a daily basis, but it’s very unsatisfying and often leaves us exhausted physically, emotionally, and mentally.  When we scramble around like this, then clearly we are not in control of anything – what’s happening around us or what’s happening inside us.

So perhaps the goal of being “in control” is based on a misconception, a misunderstanding, an illusion.  Perhaps the goal should be thought of as being empowered.  Perhaps being empowered is the same as allowing, flowing, letting go of the notion of control, and being in the moment.

Does this seem contradictory to you?

How can being “empowered’ mean giving up control and just allowing instead?

Which part of you feels the contradiction?  Your ego self?  Or your True Self?

Removing the Control Matrix

Last Saturday, March 31, 2012, a friend read the Akashic Records for me.  The Record Keepers answer to my question about what was causing pain and swelling in my lower back for the previous 2 weeks was “control.”  When I asked how to resolve this situation, I was advised to spend 12 hours asking my healing guides to remove the “control matrix” from my bodies.

My first reaction was a typical control reflex.  “What?  But I have to get my taxes done.”

Then I started laughing at myself.  If I have to choose between spiritual ascension and taxes which would I choose?

So I made dinner for the cats and myself, and turned off my phone and turned down my answering machine and got into bed around 6 p.m.  I called in my upstairs department – my I AM, my healing teams, and my guides.  I requested that they remove the entire control matrix from all of my bodies down to the cellular, atomic, and sub-atomic levels.

I slept deeply for the next 6 hours or so.  When I woke up, I was aware that there was an energetic form of very dark energy that was part-way out of my physical body, connected directly into the part of my back where I had been experiencing pain and swelling. Clearly this was a big project and required additional time to complete.

I got up for awhile and had some tea.  I think I was up for 3 hours or so and then went back to bed, whereupon I fell back into a deep sleep.

At 6:30 a.m., I got up to feed the cats.  The dark energy was gone.  I had some breakfast, and a few hours later, lay down to complete the healing process that the Akashic Record Keepers had described: to fill myself with pink/gold light for an hour.  After that, I slept again, and then got up, but I was exhausted.  For the next 4 days, I couldn’t seem to get enough sleep as my bodies readjusted.

Have I really given up control?

How different do I really feel?  Very different, but in subtle and yet substantial ways.

I am more at peace at all levels.

I am more trusting that everything will be taken care of in Divine Order.

I am gentler with myself and taking better care of myself, allowing my body to get the rest it needs when it needs it.

I allow myself to do what is appropriate for each now moment.

I have stopped beating myself up for all the things that I imagine need to be done but which cannot be done all at the same time, anyway.

I am more accepting of what is in the moment and going with that.

Of course, my head is still trying to figure this all out.

My heart is more in charge.

Be Here Now!

The old is not new.  The Truth is still the Truth.

We are learning an old lesson again – remembering how it is to be in Unity Consciousness.  The lesson is very old – as old as the universe, and older still.

The lesson is very new – as new as a newborn infant . . . a new as each moment in time.

Shiva represents empowering your True Self to dominate the small self or ego.

Be in this moment.  NOW.

Whatever is happening is Perfect.

NOW.

Focus on the Perfection.

NOW.

List what is Perfect  —>>> and create more PERFECTION.

NOW.

Only PERFECTION exists.

What you are experiencing is perfect for YOU!

What you are experiencing is perfect for the spiritual evolution of your Soul.

You brought it to yourself so you could experience its perfection.

You created it to find/discover its perfection.

Find its perfection.

Do it NOW!

Rejoice in its PERFECTION.

Rejoice in this moment.

ALL is perfect.

All is well.

Now.

Among the highest Sanskrit teachings is this chant:

Om purnamadah purnamidam.

Purnat purnamudacyate.

Purnasya purnamadaya

Purnamevavasisyate.

Om.  That is perfect.  This is perfect.

From the perfect springs the perfect.

If the perfect is taken from the perfect,

the perfect remains.

Daily Wisdom: Surrender to Whom?

SURRENDER to YOUR DIVINE SELF.

1. WISDOM: What is the wisdom you would like to give me today?

The joy of surrender is knowing that you are not alone – that you don’t have to “go it alone” in this world or any other.

The joy of surrender is accepting that you are ONE with ALL THAT IS and that when you accept surrender, you are accepting ONENESS – Unity Consciousness.

The illusion of surrender is that you are giving up or giving away your power.

The truth of surrender is that you are fully ACCEPTING your DIVINE POWER to CHOOSE whatever you want to experience.

The joy of surrender is ALIGNMENT with your DIVINE SPARK.

The peace of surrender is feeling that, no matter what the illusion may be showing on the screen of your inner mind or outer perceptions, your are completely SAFE and PROTECTED through the power of surrender.

2. LESSON: What are you trying to teach me?

When you struggle and resist, you create pain of all kinds: emotional and physical and mental, and even spiritual.  You create disharmony within yourself and it is reflected outside yourself as well.

This is not to say that, if you are physically attacked, you should not resist the attacker.  However, in the martial arts, they teach how to use the attackers weaknesses against them.  That requires surrendering to the situation so that you are open to the energy patterns and can react appropriately.

When you surrender to your own higher power, you become more psychic.  This help you to identify the information and patterns that will benefit you in every situation.  In addition, you are aligned with the ebb and flow of life, and all begins to move smoothly for you.

Surrender to Your Own Divine Self.

Surrender daily – even hourly, at first.

Then, open to receive the benefits that you have requested

through your action and intent of Surrender.

3. RESISTANCE: What have I been resistant to accepting in the past that I’m ready to receive now?

You have resisted complete surrender because you fear loss of Self.  That is your ego speaking, your small self.  Your True Self, your I Am Presence, is never lost, for that is who you actually are.

3 a — SURRENDER: What do I need to surrender?

Fear of loss of self.

3 b — ACCEPT: What do I need to accept?

You and Your “I Am Presence”

I AM THE DIVINE SELF, THE I AM PRESENCE.  Surrender to your True Self will free you from limitation and bring you PEACE, HARMONY, JOY, BLISS, and DIVINE LOVE in limitless amounts.

4. ACTION: What action would you have me take today to serve my highest path?

TODAY – begin and/or continue the process of surrendering to your Divinity.  KNOW that ALL IS WELL.

5. TO RECEIVE MY HIGHEST TRUTH:

5 a — SURRENDER: In order to receive my highest truth, what idea, behavior, or belief do you want me to surrender?

I will lose myself.

5 b —ADOPT: To live my highest truth, what new idea, behavior, or belief would you like me to adopt today?

Nothing is ever lost.  Energy and consciousness can only be transformed.  Therefore, SURRENDER to and TRUST in your I AM and surrender completely.

THANK YOU.

Comments

To progress on our paths, we must be willing to make changes.

  • We must be willing to surrender limiting beliefs and ways of being.
  • We must also be willing to adopt new beliefs, new ways of being.

Both of these are challenging for us, at times, to do.

So to start off, we ask for the information. Then, if we are truly willing to change – to expand and to give up limitation – we begin one step at a time.

We surrender. . . and if that feels too difficult, we ASK FOR HELP and set the intention to surrender.

We accept something new … and if  accepting the new feels too difficult, we ASK FOR HELP and set the intention to adopt the new way of being.
