The Real Purpose of Money

I have a new favorite book.  It’s called Busting Loose From the Money Game by Robert Scheinfeld.   This book is about money, but . . . it is really about SO MUCH MORE.

Consider this:

The real purpose of money is to express appreciation for the magnificence of yourself as the Creator of everything you experience and the magnificence of all your creations as you create and experience them. (p.87)

WOW!!  Now that’s a new perspective on money!

Consider:

When someone does something for you, you thank them, right?  When someone gives you something, you express appreciation, right?  Come on now, if you are not thanking people or expressing any appreciation to others, then it’s time for a review of basic good manners.  So I’m going to assume that you know how to say “please” and “thank you” because, of course, you do, and that you actually say it!

So, now, if you truly are the Creator of your own reality, if your reality actually reflects back to you your own beliefs, emotions, and other inner “stuff,” then when you say “thank you” you are actually expressing gratitude to YOURSELF.  This is because everyone in your personal world is you, since there is only one being here in the first place!

Back in the days before there was money, people exchanged physical items.  It was called Barter.  Today we use metal coins and pieces of paper to make the exchanges more efficient, but the concept of an exchange is the same.

When people talk to each other or interact in any way (including having sex), it is not only the words (or fluids) that are being exchanged.  It is actually ENERGY being exchanged.  In Barbara Brennan’s book, Light Emerging, there are amazing drawings of what this energy exchange might look like.

Since everything in the universe is composed of the same thing – “strings” or “waves” or “particles” – then even our emotions and thoughts must be included in this definition.  So when we exchange ANYTHING we are exchanging ENERGY.

Are you with me so far?

If we are exchanging ENERGY, and we do this at all level of vibrational frequency, then, by definition, money is just a form of energy, too.

And if everyone in our personal universe that we each call “reality” is a just another version of us, then when we pay bills, buy items in stores or online, put money into the bank or into our wallets, we appear to be moving money around, but we are actually moving energy around.  And when we give this energy to what appears to be someone else, we are really giving it to another aspect of ourselves.

In other words, when we use money as an exchange for something we want, we are really just expressing our gratitude, our appreciation – also forms of energy – for whatever it is we received in return.  This can be use of space (paying rent or mortgage), food, clothing, a healing, a consultation, medical services, and EVERYTHING else.

Do you deserve appreciation?  Of COUSE you do!

Do you deserve to be thanked?  Of COUSE you do!

So this Thanksgiving Season is really about THANKING YOURSELF as the DIVINE CREATOR of YOUR REALITY.

I THANK EACH of you for being a reflection of me in my reality.

Namaste (The God in Me Salutes the God in You.)

Compassion: Caring Without Attachment

February 5, 2009 by

One of the most powerful emotions of the Heart is compassion.  Compassion is often thought of as an emotion that only a Divine being is capable of feeling and expressing.  For example, Quan Yin (Kuan Yin) is called the Chinese Goddess of Compassion.  There are also statues expressing the energies of the Compassionate Buddha.

Does this mean that you and I are incapable of experiencing compassion from within?  Must we receive it from a Divine source?  Or are we a Divine Being also capable of feeling and expressing compassion?

The truth is that we are each capable of compassion.  But just what exactly is this quality?

One dictionary defines compassion as “a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering.”

I would agree that compassion involves sympathy, but it also includes empathy.  Sympathy means to have a similar feeling as another – to vibrationally resonate with what someone is feeling.  Empathy, on the other hand, means to actually share the feeling that another is experiencing.

The magic of compassion is that it enables us to share what another is feeling without being in judgment about it.  It also enables us to help another without being attached to the outcome of their situation.

How does compassion allow us to do this?

Compassion is a very high spiritual vibration or energy.  To truly be compassionate, one must also allow the other to make their own decisions and live with the consequences of those decisions.  Compassion does not mean that we try to fix someone else or someone else’s life.  We might offer to be helpful.  We might respond when asked for assistance.  We might offer suggestions and support.  But we must always allow the other to choose for him/herself.

Compassion works through Divine Love.  Divine Love – Love Without Conditions – means that we can love someone without requiring anything of that person.  We hold the individual in our heart regardless of what they say, what they do, what they feel, and what they choose to experience.

When we can do this, we can also compassionately sympathize and empathize with them and with their situation.  But it does not mean that we become compelled to try to fix the situation.  Compassion does not resonate with rescuing.  (Check for an upcoming blog on the subject of “rescuing.”)

When we are compassionate, we can be fully present for the person in this moment.  We can listen to their words and their emotions without having to take any action.  Because we are fully present with them in the current moment of their pain, sorrow, or whatever the person is feeling, we provide a space that allows the individual to feel and possibly express their feelings.

As the person expresses their feelings in the presence of compassion, the individual often begins to let some of the feeling go and a sense of relief arises.  Someone has heard them.  Someone cares about how they feel.  Someone is not judging them, and thus is giving them the space to just be in the moment, to just be whoever they are in that moment.

Often people feel very isolated.  Some people truly are isolated.  They may be street people or they may just live alone.  Today, we can be alone in a crowd.  We can feel isolated at a party.  Just making eye contact and giving someone a smile can be an expression of compassion when the eye contact and the smile are connected with the Heart energy of compassion.

Today, you might ask yourself these questions:

  • How can I be more compassionate towards the people I know?
  • How can I express compassion for someone I don’t know personally?
  • How can I make compassion a part of my daily life?

Of course, you can also be compassionate towards yourself, but that’s another discussion for another day.

A New Synergy of Female/Male – Yin/Yang

December 19, 2008 by

Have you been noticing that more women than men seem to be spiritually waking up or interested in Ascension?  Please understand:  there are some very awake and spiritually aware men on the Earth at this time.  Nevertheless, it seems as though women are in the lead, at least in numbers.

Why might this be so?

For one thing, women have the brain structure that supports a more conscious use of their intuitive faculties than men.  In women, the corpus colosum (the part of the brain that connects the left and right sides) is twice as large in diamenter as that of men.  This makes it easier for women to access  and integrate their intuitive faculties with their analytical faculties, something necessary for spiritual ascension and for a rebalancing of the female/male chi.

An important part of  the Ascension process is getting in touch with your intuition in a conscious way and recognizing intuition as expansion of consciousness.  Thus, communication with your I Am Presence can be described an expansion of intuition.  If you are more open to being intuitive then you are probably more open to the entire process, or at least it is easier for you to accept the process.

Secondly, the Women’s Movement of the 1960’s was a preliminary to this shift.   It helped prepare the way because it helped women accept their intuitive abilities.  So called “women’s intuition” had been denegrated for the last 2000 or so years by the dominant male power structure.  The Women’s Movement, while ostensibly a political movement, did talk about “raising consciousness,” albiet consciousness of how women were being treated.  It also helped many, many women begin to accept themselves as “OK” just the way they are.

With the coming of the Mahatma Energy, the female aspect of Divine Love which began arriving in the 1980’s, the balance of yin and yang began to change.  This is true not only in humans, but on within the Earth herself.  If you are drawn to read more about this, I recommend Drunvalo Melchizedek’s beautiful book, Serpent of Light:  Beyond 2012, in which he tells the story of the movement of the Earth’s Kundalini energy and what he calls the “Rise of the Female Light.”

It is my understanding that the goal of the shift is not female dominance, but a new synergy of male and female chi.  Since each human carries both yin (female) and yang (male) within them, this shift is bringing about new relationships within ourselves between these aspects.

Meanwhile, many, many married women who are awakening are feeling as though they are trying to move forward while their male parterns are digging in their heels and resisting the shift.  For some, this is resulting in the end of their marriage.  For others, it means that they are working extra hard to shift themselves and make opportunities available for their spouses.

Those of us who are single (and those of  us who are in relationship with a man) are still having to work with the yin and yang within ourselves.  We women all have a male aspect – or even several male aspects – and working with these is necessary to rebalance the energies within ourselves.

I recently had a client whose father had promoted perfectionism in her life.  As she strove to let go of the limiting idea of striving to be perfect and accept that she was already perfect in all ways, two male aspects of her came forward.  Each of them had given great service to her in her current life, but those old roles no longer suited her current situation.  Now she and they could work out a new relationship that was more in balance with her personal goals and her spiritual path.

We are all being “rearranged” in so many ways, and the new levels of interaction between our male and female selves is just a part of this.  When we are aware of what is going on, it makes it easier to allow the process.

The Heart Chakra

December 9, 2008 by

The heart chakra is located in the middle of the chest.  It is the center of Divine Love in our 4-body system (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels, as they are called.)  The Heart Center is our place of healing.  WIthin it dwells our highest aspect that came into our physical form at the moment of birth.  This aspect has been called many things in different cultures, but I will call it the Divine Spark.

The transformative energy center.

The transformative energy center.

The Divine Spark resides inside a multidimensional MERKABA within the Heart Center.  When seen with the inner eye, the Divine Spark is a pure flame of white light.  It is our individual soul extension and is continuously connected to higher aspects of our Self that live outside the physical form.

When drawn two-dimensionally, the Divine Spark is shown to exist within a 6-pointed star.  While some call this the Star of David, it is actually a two-dimensional representation of a MERKABA VEHICLE.  (There is also a MERKABA surrounding our auric fields, but that is another discussion.)

The merkaba or star-tetrahedron.

The merkaba or star-tetrahedron.

The MERKABA is a sacred geometric form that begins to spin when we reach a certain point in our awakening process.  When it is spinning, is increases our personal power in many ways.

There are many other powerful tools of transformation in the heart.  These may be called the Heart emotions, but they vibrate at much higher frequencies than the emotions of the first 3 chakras.  The tools of the heart include:  Love without conditions, Hope, Compassion, Empathy, Forgiveness, Non-Judgment, Generosity, Joy, Peace, Gratitude, Enthusiasm, Detachment, and Communion with Oneness.

In the Hindu tradition, the Heart Center is drawn with 12 petals of a lotus flower.  Each petal represents a smaller vortex spinning inside the larger vortex of the chakra.

According to the ancient yogis, when the kundalini, (the divine energy which rests at the base of the spine until we receive spiritual awakening) rises to the heart chakra, we are able to transform our lower vibrational energies into higher frequencies.  The direct result of this transformation is to free ourselves from limitating emotions, limiting beliefs, and limiting thought patterns.  We become expansive, filled with creativity, love, light, and joy.

The Ascension process taking place on the Earth today is, in fact, awakening humanity by literally causing all of our cells, our DNA, and our 4-body system even to the atomic level, to vibrate faster.  This causes denser, lower frequency patterns to be brought to the surface of our awareness.  Things in our lives that made us uncomfortable can no longer be ignored because they are “in our faces.”  We may experience all kinds of symptoms at all levels, and Western medicine is not able to help us.  If we resist looking at and working through the patterns that are now intesified by the energies, we cause ourselves more pain and some even are choosing to leave the Earth plane rather than do the work to transform these energies.

The place to work consciously on whatever is arising for you is in the Heart Center.  There is not only the Divine Toolbox there, but also the Divine Self, who is ready to love, support, and encourage you, as well as to directly provide healing for this process.

Go into your Heart Center today and ask for assistance.  You will never be denied.

Dimensions, Frequencies, and Ascension

November 30, 2008 by

Lots of times, when clients call about an animal that has passed on (i.e., died) they want to speak to the spirit and understand where the spirit is dwelling.    While the animal may be able to describe what the place they are in looks like, this doesn’t always help the person understand where the animal spirit is dwelling in relationship to where the client is dwelling.

When a spirit leaves a physical body, the spirit is no longer visible because human physical vision is limited to a very narrow band called the visible light band.  We can see a narrow range of colors, but once the frequency goes lower than infra-red or higher than ultra-violet, human eyes cannot receive the frequency.  This is because the electromagnetic spectrum is gigantic compared to the narrow band of “light” that we can see.  The human eye is practically blind, as it can only respond to a very tiny range of energy, approximately 0.005% of what is “out there.”

What might be all around us that we cannot see?

In one of the original Star Trek programs, the Enterprise visits a planet in response to a call for help, but no one seems to have survived.  The landing party can “see” no people.  Occasionally, they hear a buzzing, like an insect sound, but they see no one and no insects, either.

Once back on the starship, Capt. Kirk and company begin having some odd experiences.  Capt. Kirk disappears right before his crews’ eyes.  From Kirk’s perspective, his entire crew seems to go into slow motion movement, eventually moving so slowly that he cannot see them moving at all.  And as soon as Kirk is moving (vibrating) fast enough, he suddenly can see the aliens who have come onto the Enterprise from the planet below.

This story vividly demonstrates that there can be, and probably are, beings around us that vibrate at frequencies that we cannot detect.  Even our current technological instruments, just like those on the Enterprise, may not be able to detect them.

Did you know that scientists now surmise that 95% of the matter and energy in our universe may be what they are calling “dark matter and dark energy”.  They are not detecting this matter/energy, but they believe that it exists because only its presence would explain other phenomenon that scientists are observing.  Scientists call it “dark” because it is outside the light spectrum that we currently can detect and therefore it is only “dark” because it is invisible to us and our instruments.  (“Dark” does not mean bad or evil in this instance – just invisible.)

So consider – when someone’s spirit leaves the physical realm, this is a frequency change.  It is not a change in physical space.  Of course, just as we can go places with our physical body, the spirit can go places without the physical body.  Many people have written about their “out of body” experiences, which take place at a frequency range very near our own.

Now, how does this all relate to Ascension?

In the past, beings who have been in the physical body and who were raising the vibrational frequency of their consciousness had to move out of the physical body because that vehical was not able to carry the higher frequency vibration.  Thus, in the past, we have been told that some great master or other died and ascended.

Today, the ascension process is about raising the vibrational frequency of Planet Earth and all her children, humanity included.  Our physical bodies are vibrating faster and faster as our consciousness is also accelerating.  As physical bodies and our consciousess accelerate, our memories, our mental and emotional patterns, and our habits of behavior that were appropriate at lower frequencies (or densities) no longer are comfortable for us.  They are too slow.  They rise to the surface of our consciousness just like fat rises to the surface of a pot of stew, having been cooked out of the meat.

This is one of the major reasons why so many people are having challenges today.  Old “issues” are in our faces because they no longer fit who we are becoming.  An excellent article on ascension symptoms is at http://www.selftransform.net/Ascension_Symptoms.htm and you can also search the internet and find many more.

The important thing to remember about these symptoms is that, while they may appear at first to be symptoms of known medical problems, they are not the same thing at all.  When checked out by medical doctors, many people find that the doctors don’t have a clue as to what is going on or how to help them.  If you or a family member have this experience, it is a good time to remember that what may be going on is the mind and body letting go of old stuff.

Because these symptoms are caused by higher frequencies being integrated into the body, some form of alternative energy healing might be more helpful than allopathic medicine.  So after your doctor tells you that s/he has no idea how to treat you, I suggest you explore an alternative approach.

According to the Kryon teachings, energy medicines are the medicines of our immediate future.  This aligns with the situation we are in now, where the biggest changes we are going through are really shifts in vibrational frequency at all levels of our being.

You can ask to be guided to what you need to help you through this transition.  Or, perhaps, you are already awake enough to check in with your intuition (the messges from your own higher self) to seek out what you need to heal.

I once made a list of all the alternative healing practitioners I knew and respected because I needed help with a particular problem.  I was going to use a pendulum to help me determine who to call, but before I could even work my way down the list, the name of the person I needed to see jumped right out at me.  My intuition was correct and I got the help I needed.
