Just How Grateful Can You Be?

This is the season for Gratitude.

"Thank you" written in sand.

It’s easy to be thankful, to feel gratitude, for things we receive that we recognize immediately as gifts.

Can you also be grateful for whatever comes into your life that appears in the form of a challenge?

Surprise!

A present that someone sends you, wrapped or unwrapped, that you get to open and go “Oooh” and “Aaah” easily evokes gratitude, especially when it’s unexpected and something you’ll enjoy.

It’s easy to be grateful for having a warm home, for having plenty of food, and loving companions, whether human or animal — if only you remember to appreciate the “little” things that are not so little at all.

The not-so-easy part are the gifts that come in unexpected forms with unexpected qualities that challenge you.

Such a gift may seem harsh or uncomfortable at first.

Such a gift may push your buttons, evoke fear or anxiety, anger, or even jealousy.

“What?”  you ask in astonishment.

“Was that truly a gift when so-and-so was rude to me?

Was it a gift when I discovered that my car wouldn’t start or the person who was supposed to meet me for dinner didn’t show up and didn’t call?

How can it be a gift when someone bullies me or gossips about me?”

We may not recognize it as a gift, at first, when we are treated badly or when something happens that pushes our buttons, .

We may be so caught up in our emotional response that all we can do in that moment is feel our denser emotions surging.

Only in retrospect may we recognize that the experience is an opportunity for gratitude.

Every experience is an opportunity for gratitude.

Stop and consider.   Somewhere inside each situation a gift awaits you.  And not only one gift, but perhaps even two or three . . . or more.

These are what I call Seeds of Equivalent Benefit.

These “seeds” are gifts that may need time to grow.  They may be hidden, at first, so tiny that your eyes cannot see them, but their presence is certain.

  • Perhaps the gift is to discover who your real friends are.
  • Perhaps the gift encourages you to find your inner courage and to step forward into that courage in a new and more powerful way.
  • Perhaps the gift is an opportunity for you to put aside something that you are strongly attached to in order to discover the freedom of non-attachment.
  • Perhaps the gift is to learn to trust that the Universe (God, Goddess, All That Is) is right there taking care of you, if only you open yourself to receive these blessings.

These are only a few of the true gifts of life’s challenges.

When we open our hearts through gratitude to receive them, we begin to find joy and peace within ourselves, as well as our inner strengths.

To discover hidden gifts, stop the chatter in your head about how terrible the situation is or was, and open yourself and your heart to gratitude.

When you say,

I Am Grateful  for the gifts I’m about to receive.

I trust that gifts hidden in this situation are about to appear.

Thank you.  Thank you.  Thank you.

With the expression of gratitude you are watering and nourishing each Seed of Equivalent Benefit.

Gratitude shines the Light of your Soul upon each seed like the sun shines on a garden.

When you do that, the seeds immediately begin to sprout.

As long as you remain grateful for them and remain open to receiving them, they will appear in your life.

Some will manifest sooner than others, but all will bear fruit.

Once you receive them, you will find yourself naturally feeling even more gratitude.

Seeds of Equivalent Benefit flowering.

The POWER of GRATITUDE

is ENORMOUS!

So, just how grateful can you be?

This holiday season, give yourself the gift of gratitude.

Be grateful for all that has not yet appeared.

Be grateful for all the challenges, too.

Do not ask for anything specific.

Just express gratitude every day and then observe what happens.

You may be AMAZED!

Which Path Will You Choose?

3D-5D Your Choice_50

We’re all in 5-D now, but we’re approaching the fork in the road.

Which path will YOU choose?

Are you living in the NOW moment?

Are you using your psychic senses to gather information?

Are you making decisions from your Heart Center?

Are you looking for the gold nuggets

hidden inside every event in your daily life?

There’s nothing wrong with being in 3-D.  It’s a powerful place to be.  But if you feel finished with living in limitation, choose the 5-D path.

Either choice is a good one.  All paths lead home eventually.  There’s no judgment.  Take the path that calls to you!

Remember that you only get to choose a path for yourself.  You can’t choose for anyone else, and no one else can choose for you.  You can’t choose for your significant other, for your children, for your parents, for your friends.  You can only choose for yourself.

And no one else can choose for you, either.

So sense the energy.

  • Take 2 pieces of paper, the same size and color, with nothing written on either one.
  • Write 5-D on one and on the other write 3-D.
  • Now place your left hand, palm down, over the paper that says 3-D.
  • What do you feel?  Sense?  Notice?
  • Now place your left hand, palm down, over the paper that says 5-D.
  • What do you feel?  Sense?  Notice?

Ask yourself these questions:

  1. Which feels better to me?
  2. Which one calls to me?
  3. What does my heart tell me?

If you are drawn to 3-D, then just keep doing what you’ve been doing:

  • Stay focused on limitation.
  • Stay in lower emotional patterns of fear, anger, resentment, jealousy, grief, sadness.
  • Allow all addictions to continue.
  • Make decisions based on logic or on what others tell you.
  • Keep focused on being in linear time.
  • Ignore everything and anything that might cause you to question who you are, where you came from, and what you’re supposed to be doing.
  • Pretend that you can go back to the way things used to be.

Or . . .

To choose 5-D

  • Look for opportunities to be expansive, to try new things, and to move your mind to focus on opportunity and positive outcomes.
  • Replace emotional patterns of fear, anger, resentment, jealousy, grief, sadness, with Divine Love, Forgiveness, Gratitude, Non-judgment, Inner Peace, Joy, and Contentment.
  • Consciously choose to heal all addictions by being present with yourself, no matter what you may be feeling and allowing your inner aspects to be heard.
  • Make decisions based on what your heart tells you.
  • Keep focused on being in the now moment.
  • Ask for higher guidance to help you discover who you are, where you came from, and what you’re supposed to be doing.
  • Embrace change as a friend.

I’ll be on the 5-D path, so hopefully, I see some of you there.

Namaste.

What is “right” about this moment?

Everything!

Let’s face it – all we have is THIS MOMENT.

And the truth is – whatever you focus on in this moment creates the next moment.

So – what are you focusing on?

Are you beating yourself up for something?

Don’t create more of that!

Are you angry with someone or about something?

If you are addicted to anger – if you enjoy being angry – that’s a choice.

Otherwise, don’t create more of that!

Are you worried or afraid?

Unless you like to feel that way, don’t create more of that, either!

Who’s in charge of your life anyway?

Last time I looked, you were the one who chose this life and you are the one in charge of it.  SO…

Be in charge.

Choose what you will focus on.

Focus on what is “RIGHT”

– what is “PERFECT” –

about this moment.

How do you decide what’s “right”?

If you like what you see, feel, sense – then focus on that.  As a result, you will create more of it in your life.

If you don’t like what you see, feel, sense – then focus on the Seed of Equivalent Benefit, which is present within everything – then we move quickly through what is uncomfortable to the magnificence hidden within it.

There is no other way to decide.

It’s all up to you!

Every moment is perfect – as it is.  If you think otherwise, then you have forgotten that you created your life plan on the Soul plane before incarnating.  You set all this up so you can learn about your personal power and have interesting and challenging and fun experiences.

You didn’t set it up to become trapped and helpless – although, actually, you might have chosen to experience being trapped and helpless just to experience what that’s like.

But even if you did set it up, that’s OK because you are a powerful co-creator and you can change what you are experiencing to something new and different and wonderful just by taking the following steps:

  1. NOTICE what you are focusing on in this moment.
  2. DECIDE if you want more of this or if you would prefer to experience something different.
  3. FOCUS on whatever you want to experience.
  4. SET INTENTIONS for what you want to experience.
  5. LET IT GO so it can be created by the Upstairs Department – the angels and nature spirits and elementals.
  6. MONITOR your thinking and emotions.  Don’t allow yourself to slip back into a different focus if that’s not what you want to create.

VOILA!!

You have demonstrated your Mastery.

You have taken charge of your life.

Here comes you new creation!!

Namaste,
Nedda
